2nd update: The service from this company is outstanding. For that alone you have to trust the purchase. It worked for me for a while, and then I turned around when I had another problem. They were attentive and resolved the situation. If the device works, then great. If it doesn't work, it will be taken care of. I wouldn't normally give 5 stars to a product I've had issues with, but I rarely see service this good. UPDATE: After a week of work, the app parted ways with Google and I can't get along with Google anymore. The plug also disconnects from the app in both Android and IOS, so I have to keep the app open for 10 seconds and refresh to see the plug again. The instructions are ridiculously bad. I have a home full of smart home devices and this was the second hardest to set up. It could be a lot easier. First you need to download the application (Smart Life) which is good but install another application. The app shakes during installation and the instructions are not very helpful. It took me about 20 tries to get it working but I finally got it working. It took several resets and attempts. Follow the instructions as best you can, and then fix the error with a few resets. If it works, it's good. Installation with Google and Alexa is cumbersome, but a little better documented. If the installation was more reliable this would be a 5 star product. The installation is really bad and disappointing. I want to buy another product.
