I have dupuytren’s contracture which makes my hands hurt as well as have calcium deposits on several of the bones. This makes for opening lids to jars or tops to bottles almost impossible and very painful. This little opener will come in very handy. It’s small enough to fit in our "gadget” drawer. So far I’ve opened a few items with it and it works really well. For my strength level it will be just fine, but I’m not 100 sure you could put all of your "mite” behind this and not have it break since it’s plastic. Overall, I highly recommend it.
