Good product for suction cups. covers slightly enlarged openings. Goes well with bright environments. Nobody will notice the ring and now the damage is covered. - Stacks with your light. So a slightly thicker base and maybe not as airtight (not the product's fault), you'll need to "center" the round ring when it's in place. never mind. The inner cutout is most likely suitable for a 5" light as it doesn't mind a 6" light. The edge of a 6 inch lantern will overlap slightly. I really wish they were wider. Covers 1/4" to 1/2" more edge on most 6" bases. I thought my 6" light would fit in that little recessed lip, but it doesn't (like I said, it is probably for a 5" light?) It has an inner diameter of 6" and an outer diameter of 8" so the reach is 1". 6" recessed lights always have a 6" stem and then an outer curved one lip (which varies up to 3/4" depending on the manufacturer). Some reviews say the white is a different color than the owner's light. very slight that your trifle..who would have noticed by looking at the ceiling. It is slightly textured (ABS? plastic) so paint it beforehand with blanket paint if you want to match your blanket perfectly.- the product can be improved (or propose an alternative version) because they are flatter and/or without inseam .a But mainly due to the fact that it is slightly wider to the bad performance / to hide the damage from people. I have an old house where the holes weren't perfectly cut and chipped off a bit. They did a pretty good job of being a very cheap and easy way to hide that damage...they don't look like Band Aids.
