This item "works" but the radio reception could be much better. I don't even understand local channels well. The drawer movement on the CD player is a bit jerky and I wonder how long that will last. There are many knobs/buttons/controls which can be confusing. I still have trouble switching between radio, CD, weather etc. Mine came with no command set (it was an overhaul). Sound quality is acceptable, which is what I expected from something of this size. Comes with a remote control but I've never had to use it as my kitchen setup keeps me almost a step away from the turntable. Installing under the counter was easy enough. In general, the quality isn't the best, but it's not the worst either. I ALREADY had the worst so I replaced it with this one! :)
