A very pleasant sound that my family noticed immediately. I love having a radio in the kitchen by the counter. Better reception than my old Sony model. Too bad it was under the oncoming light. Otherwise he is perfect.

Glad to have found this replacement for our old GE unit. We use it for radio, especially AM, and for playing CDs while working in the kitchen. It was a little pricey for a used device and there are no instructions on how to use it, but we'll find out. Sound quality is good and installation was easy.

These units are no longer made so I was happy to buy refurbished ones instead. My brother plugged the old 110V unit into a 220V outlet here in the Philippines. In addition to hissing, the resulting smell had to be aired quickly. It's easy for me and my wife. Good OK! Thank you for fixing "no longer in production" instead.

This item "works" but the radio reception could be much better. I don't even understand local channels well. The drawer movement on the CD player is a bit jerky and I wonder how long that will last. There are many knobs/buttons/controls which can be confusing. I still have trouble switching between radio, CD, weather etc. Mine came with no command set (it was an overhaul). This is the first device I've received that had obvious damage to the device itself during shipping, with no visible damage to the outer packaging. .
