This shirt is nice and soft without being too heavy. My daughter loves wearing this shirt before bed. She tends to be on the warmer side, so sometimes at night when it's cooler, a thick blanket or bundle of blankets gets too hot and she sweats. This shirt allows her to keep her upper body warm enough and just to cover her legs. It's been washed several times and the material hasn't lost its shape or looked worn. The only question is the length of the sleeves. In general, the length of the shirt itself is normal, but for some reason the sleeves are very long. But this can easily be remedied by twisting. Or you can leave the sleeves open and cover your arms to keep warm when needed.
