Review on 🚪 Kohler 1150464 96 Hinge in Kohler K 1150464 96 Bisque by Richard Cuneo

Our slow closing Kohler toilet seat that we've had for over 10 years has finally started to strike. After some research, I found that only the hinge assembly needed to be replaced, not the entire seat. While replacing the new hinge assembly was the easiest as the entire replacement process took no more than ten (10) minutes, the hinge started all day about to fail as one of the dampers kept slipping, resulting in a loose close. I have received absolutely no satisfaction from Kohler for not answering their customer support phone lines or their emails. After a bit of work, Jimmy found a solution, essentially moving spacers around to keep the shocks from failing. The problem was that the old hinge cover didn't fit the new hinge assembly exactly. You pay enough, the hinge assembly must come with a new hinge cover. I will never buy overpriced Kohler products.
