The channels themselves are great but the diffusers do absolutely nothing. I thought the Smokey finish would at least help hide the white strip but it’s basically clear.Updated: due to the cover not hiding the strip, I wrapped them around the inner edge which was moderately effective. When sitting at the desk you cannot see the led strip. Not the results that I initially wanted, but it turned out okay.Overall I would recommend this for projects on a budget, or for those who like the effect
