I expected mediocre quality, but the product was pleasantly surprised.

I bought this phone 10 days ago: not so long ago, but enough to understand a good phone or not. I saw a lot of comments on the Internet about this model, there were not very many, but I hoped that these were all nit-picking, because I had already set my sights on this model. Unfortunately, not all of them are false. This phone has its advantages and disadvantages.
Total: I like the phone, it’s beautiful, it works well, I don’t take pictures often, so the camera flaws don’t bother me much, the fact that it doesn’t hold a charge for long either, because I don’t use the phone much (I prefer working on a laptop). If not for the terrible scanner, everything would be fine. Of course, not perfect, but this is not a flagship to demand something from it. In general, the phone is recommended for purchase.

Pros

* huge display (but someone may recognize this as a minus, maybe the screen is really immense, at first I treated it like a shovel); * also the screen is very bright and even on the street everything is clearly visible at maximum brightness, only of course if the screen does not get direct rays of the sun; * loud sound, but not voluminous and of course we are not talking about any basses; * good camera (many wrote that the camera was disappointing, but this is not the device that you buy to take professional pictures, and the camera is very good: the colors are saturated, good color reproduction, of course there are blunders when the picture is too sharp or the letters appear white edges) * a lot of memory, including RAM; * the phone is smart, all applications open instantly; * the shell is very beautiful;

Cons

* First of all, this is a fingerprint scanner, because I was already (for 10 days) terribly tired of it. Before that, I didn’t have a fingerprint unlock function on my phone, so I didn’t know how scanners work on phones, but I didn’t expect that everything was so bad. Yes, I have a scanner on my laptop and it's faster. The phone can only be unlocked from the third time, and then thanks at least for this, maybe it doesn’t unlock at all and you have to enter a password. And this is despite the fact that I entered the scan of the same finger twice to increase the percentage of recognition. Tired of this scanner, I registered my face for face unlock, so while I'm trying to unlock the phone with my finger, the phone opens with my face; * sometimes it happens that I can’t turn on the phone just by tapping on the screen, I press the power button to turn on the screen, and then some incomprehensible thing happens: instead of turning on and giving the opportunity to unlock it, it turns on for a second and goes out again. This worries, because the phone is brand new; * performance not impressed. Previously, I had a Samsung J5 2022 phone, well, as you can see from the year the phone was released, I used it for 4 years and kept it well, and so, the performance of the A71 is almost on par with my old, not very expensive J5, moreover I didn't use it much for 10 days. I’ll clarify that it holds a charge for about a day and a half at low brightness and the Internet is always turned off. It is up to you to decide how good this indicator is; * The camera will probably end up in this category too, because I expected more from it. The main camera is normal, of course there are disadvantages that I spoke about earlier, but in general it is good, but the front one is not at such a height. It is good, no doubt, the colors are bright again, even in poor lighting, but the detail suffers (the painted eyelashes are not clearly visible =))
