At first I thought they might be too bright for oncoming cars. After installing them, I was a bit nervous. They seemed too good to be true when I retrofitted the stock halogen headlights on a 2019 Subaru Impreza. My first thought was "oh my god I might have to send them back!” I've been driving for 2 nights now and not a single person has given me high beam for my headlights. I was shocked. The beam pattern matches that of the halogen exactly, with a clear cut-off line just below the opposite driver's face. Still nervous about my purchase and doing some thorough legal research on LED headlights, I stumbled across the fact that the letters DOT printed on the LED itself tell the police officer that the lamp is street legal in all 50 states. This is a relief as most of the LED bulbs I've looked at say OFF-ROAD USE ONLY or NOT STREET LEGAL. These 3 letters let me breathe a sigh of relief that theoretically I never have to change lightbulbs. This is a really great product and I highly recommend buying it for high beam as well. You will not be disappointed.
