I don't know how this product does it but it totally takes the comfort out of the foam. I wear the headband a little higher than usual and after a few hours of use with this case, my face leaves deep marks that stay until I wake up in the morning. I have mild but constant irritating pain due to intense pressure on my forehead and cheekbones. I figured it was just the positioning and not the lid's fault, but when I tried removing the lid and just using the stock foam, comfort was instant. I have used the VR Cover fabric cover on my CV1 Oculus which was fantastic, comfortable and easy to clean. While this lid snaps open very easily, is very durable, and cleans up easily with a tissue, it's not worth the pain I feel after an hour of use. If I was forced to just use this cover, I'd probably go back to regular computer games.
