Considering the price I was afraid it would be a bit cheap. It was absolutely not and worth the money. This is very durable furniture. It was actually quite heavy when we got it in place and didn't look cheap at all (good quality parts). I am very enthusiastic about this bench. It was excellent value for money. The older child's backpack takes up about a third of the seating area and there is still room. The shoe rack below is good for the man's work shoes and the 3 year old's broken pieces. The shoe rack at the bottom can hold about 3-4 medium sized shoes. It looks very nice and I'm not that easy to sell.
