I needed a way to hold my cell phone and point it at the wall for the camera's laser tracking system. I bought this tripod because it was cheap and it came with a remote control in case I wanted to take pictures. The tripod was a bit difficult to open the first time. Holds tight. To lengthen the stick, it's also quite stiff. It takes a little hand strength to fit my Galaxy S10 into the Otter case as the grip is very stiff. After installation it works great. This allowed me to get the exact angle I needed. Overall, I'm personally very happy with the design. It is very portable and easy to take with you. The price was very fair.
