This is a great helmet harness system. I had 3 other types and I liked this one the best. The adjustable gusset allows you to fit tight in the summer and looser in the winter to make room for cold-weather gear without the straps having to loosen. You just exit a few bets with a quick click. I would give it 5 stars but it requires some modifications to install. Okay, now the bad part - you'll need a plastic adjustment slider if you don't already have one. You will also need to attach the red end of the flaps to the "D" rings. Here's what I did. After attaching the other sliding end, that left about 7 inches of extra nylon strap. I cut it off and burn the end so it doesn't peel off. Then I took the extra strap, threaded it through the red clasp, threaded it through the "D" rings as usual and fastened it with a loop. then i sewed the two ends together with a needle and poly thread and then burned the ends again. This ensures a clean appearance and safe application.
