Review on ELAC Debut Bookshelf Speakers Black Home Audio by Lisa Zulo

Revainrating 5 out of 5

amazing speakers at Home Audio

Very happy with these speakers. I spent a lot of time researching and almost clicked on KEF/Klipsch because I had the budget and liked the aesthetic better. ELACs look way better in real life than they do in marketing materials and catalog images, and I love their old-school look. The front ports are important in the apartment and I have them close to the wall. Paired with the new Yamaha WXA-50 and the combination works really well for me. I planned a small subwoofer, but still enjoy it organically. If I had a subwoofer I would cross it over pretty low and let the ELAC do most of the hard work. I'm glad I went with 5.2 instead of 6.2 as the sound is amazing without taking up more space. Spent a few bucks on custom oakwood coasters. The sound is fantastic, the bass is solid and I'd happily recommend these little beauties. Put the money you save to better use.
