It makes life easier
I love having to switch between two computers. It is very nice. I add my mouse, keyboard, headset and anything else I want to share between them and it takes care of the rest. No more switching cables. In my case, I have a desktop computer and a Surface Dock, each connected to an input on my monitors, so all I have to do is change the monitor's input and press a button to switch from work to home settings.
