Bought these to store homemade toothpaste with essential oils. The description and reviews led me to believe that this is the right use for these glasses. The size was great but 4 or 5 jars out of 12 cracked the day after the toothpaste was made. A few more cans cracked in the next week. After a few weeks, the inside of the jars became rough and cloudy and difficult to clean. I don't know if the essential oils reacted with the material in the jar, but if you're considering using essential oils in your homemade toothpastes, lotions, etc., you might want to consider another option.
