Review on Odorcide Original Concentrate: Powerful 16 oz Pet Odor and Stain Remover by Brandon Whiteman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I hope the bottle is always handy, please never change the recipe!

TL;DR: seems to 'kill' odors very well with a mild scent that doesn't linger and does its job well although it washes off 10-15 minutes after spraying. Concentration levels are no joke, this stuff lasts forever! I first encountered this material while high pressure washing the bodies of dumpsters, and it has never ceased to amaze me ever since. I ended up with a partial bottle after that job ended over 5 years ago and have used it as a cure for many little things around the house that we couldn't/wouldn't 'fix' with soap and water. We used the half mark on the installed 1 ounce measuring cup to fill a spray bottle that would last for several months. I recently turned to this product to help combat the odor from evaporating urine on the artificial grass that our dogs use in their yard. The orange ounce or so I had left couldn't reduce it all the way down and I was pleased to find that my new bottle appeared to be made from the same recipe. While it's one of the least hazardous chemicals I've used in pressure washing, I'm still a bit wary of the effects on my dogs, so I wash the grass fairly thoroughly afterwards. Surprisingly, after a few weeks, the smell still seems to come back.
