You don't have to worry about scratching my remote control.

I made the mistake of putting it on the wrong way round and this piece doesn't slip off easily. Once I have the iff and get it properly tightened it fits snugly, but I'm not looking forward to having to remove the cover to replace my remote battery as it doesn't slide off easily. But at least I don't have to worry about scratches. my new remote control.
