Having received it I now understand the complaints about the lack of customization and it's a shame because it could have been fixed so easily by drilling a few extra holes , which I did. They place the Vesa monitor interface holes in the CENTER of the mount, which allows you to move just 3 inches in each direction. All they had to do was add additional holes on the top and bottom ends of the mount so you can adjust it a full 7 inches up or down. I've included a picture of additional holes that would fix this. Of course, the other factor associated with this mount is interfering with the input/power connections on your monitor. 4" from the center back accommodates this mount, so you may need to add spacers and/or 90 degree adapters if these inputs go straight to the rear and match the center 4".
