I have a '97 Jeep Wrangler TJ. Works great, very bright and I like the tail light. - You will need to drill out some of the stock mounting nuts in the body to be able to use these bolts. .- The included cable instructions work well if you know what your specific car colors mean and know the basics of grounding the cable. It works out. Passenger side: I have the standard tailgate hinges and these lights are mounted so close to the body (why I bought them) that I had to drill new holes slightly to the right to keep them from catching on the hinge. Yes, and the plastic has some rough spots on the seam. But I am fine. Haven't tested them in the rain yet. Yes, I'm sure you can fold right away if you spend double or more. I wanted them because they're low profile, still look traditional, and I won't pay if I crack them on the trail then I'll buy another set. I'm happy with them.
