Review on Franklin Sports Over Scoring Basketball by Michael Colley

Update: I left the voicemail and opened the warranty card through the Franklin Sports website and still nothing. At this point I don't expect them to ever reply no matter what channel I try. Now I will definitely not buy their products again. I will update this review if I ever get a response from them. At first it seemed like it was going to be a strong tire. I did *a lot* of research before purchasing this tire. I have read many reviews from people who couldn't believe how much abuse a hoop can take from teenagers jumping on it. They must have gotten something different than we did because it broke 33 days after my 9 year old son wet it. 3 days longer than the return window. So now I have a piece of junk. They put springs that are too stiff in the "tear-off" rim. Compressing the feathers requires more force than the shield to bend a lot. In fact, the springs hardly compress at all, as the back threatens to break in half at the point where the Plexiglas connects to the door hooks. This is the second tire my son has. The latter didn't seem very strong, but it still lasted almost a year. I tried contacting the support number listed on Revain but it only went to a general voicemail after navigating their phone tree. I don't expect to be called back.
