So this is my first french press and so far it has been very good. I have used it several times. It filters the soil quite well, although there is only one filter mesh. I bought the 350ml version because I'm the only coffee drinker in the family and the smaller size makes the glass harder to break. It holds up very well in hot water and isn't hard to squeeze at all. The coffee is delicious and the size is fantastic. Doesn't take up space and is very easy to clean. You can also use this item to prepare tea leaves. This is a really great budget version if you want to try something with a French press first. My coffee grinder actually cost more than this change.
