This is an excellent transducer from what I have seen on the Raymarine website. The problem is that I bought it for my Axiom 7 DV because the info says it will work with any MFP. Well, it doesn't connect directly to the back of the Axiom 7 DV. I ordered an adapter cable that reviewers claim works, but it's not the right adapter. Looking at the picture I uploaded, the adapter on the right has the exact same end as the sensor cable, so you can't connect it. The other end of this adapter is the same as the one on the back of the Axiom 7 DV, so you literally can't connect a female end to another female end. I am awaiting information from Raymarine for a suitable adapter. Now I suspect that this converter may not work on the Axiom 7 DV. I'm not sure.
