Axiom 7. You need this adapter!

Just installed on my boat. The kit comes with excellent accessories, clips and a long cable. Went to my device and said it would work with my Axiom 7 device but no! It works with the professional series, for the normal one you need the adapter A80490 p/n which is not listed for 9pin to 20pin conversion. I need better descriptions of this. Otherwise I would give it a full 5.

Add says it works on Axiom devices but it doesn't. called tech support and was told to buy a box for $1500.00

Says it's on an Axiom Unit works but it is false advertising He has a 9 pin Axiom-I unit but the converter is 25 pin and the cable adapter is not intended for Ray Marine Technical Support. I only found out about this after my month returned and now I have a $350 boat anchor.

Excellent transducer, the best in marine electronics

This is an excellent transducer from what I have seen on the Raymarine website. The problem is that I bought it for my Axiom 7 DV because the info says it will work with any MFP. Well, it doesn't connect directly to the back of the Axiom 7 DV. I ordered an adapter cable that reviewers claim works, but it's not the right adapter.
