Great tool for quick development of simple circuits

I like how easy it makes prototyping with arduino, the fact that if you decide not to use it at all later down the road it's super easy to just delete everything and start over again without having wasted any money or time on making some really intricate device! Also there are many nice tutorials online so even someone without much experience in electronics can get started pretty easily! The only problem i have had was initially when trying out different things figuring out what exactly each block did/functioned was difficult because they're kinda confusingly named (eg "I2C" or "Digital IO"). However after playing around enough using this it seems as though once you figure something out everything else falls into place rather quickly. This has been my solution for building prototypes, but now we've actually moved past simply building an actual working prototype now that we do more complicated projects (ie 3d printed parts) i am no longer certain whether this would be necessary. Using Arduinos is great but sometimes it makes sense to make physical devices (i.e.-prototyping) instead. I like how easy it was setup, once i got past all teh confusing tutorials found online! The support team at s-four are great as well!! We have been able t o integrate our raspberry pi with arduino projects in order use them together without having two separate boards laying around taking up space etc.. This has made my life so much easier when working remotely or out side office hours from home.

Pros
  • It works perfectly fine
  • Makes creating complex products very simple; also gives me confidence knowing where ever thing goes wrong within such programing environment will work its way back through troubleshotting methods which help immensely.
  • Very intuitive interface &/easy access via google search engine results pages :)
Cons
  • Some little things
