I'm quite pleased with the 81LG00AHRK Google laptop I purchased for 17,000. For the sole purpose of installing Linux and working in the console, I brought along a laptop. The laptop's extremely high performance under Centos 8, it was discovered, does not justify its asking price. If you're using OS X 1905, you'll need a kernel ate for the touchpad and WiFi to function. While the touchpad functions, WiFi does not in Centos 7. One HDMI port, a gigabit LAN connector, two standard USB ports, and one USB Type-C port (for plugging in further extensions) may be found on the left side of the side panel (I use an adapter to classic USB 3.0 ) Thank goodness there's only a kensington lock connector on the right side; it wouldn't be useful for the average user. There's a lot of empty space where the drive used to be on the inside, and a connector that looks like an M.2 slot (I'm not sure if this is it, but google suggests that it may well be), but to reach it, you'd have to take the laptop completely apart. One DDR4 SO-DIMM module can be installed in the available slot on the board. A common SATA-connector SSD is utilized in the workplace. An innovative feature of this laptop is its placement of the cooling outlet directly under the screen, making it safe to close either the left or right side of the display. The traditional method of air intake is from the bottom.
