Review on 🏎️ Enhanced Performance with the QA1 TS505 Shock Absorber by Jason Vigil

This shock will not fit 1968 Camaro/Firebird. A major rebuild of a stock vehicle is required to use this shock. The factory damper is approximately 1 5/8 inch in diameter. This QA1 muffler is approximately 1 15/16 inch in diameter. Almost 2 inches. The mounting hole in the factory forearm is approximately 1 3/4" in diameter. Under no circumstances will this QA1 shock fit on a factory lower link. Extensive modifications are required to use this shock absorber. The factory armhole needs to be enlarged. This lever is made from 1/4" thick steel. Have fun doing this without the proper tools, which many weekend mechanics don't have. Once the hole is enlarged, the factory welded lug nuts that were used to hold the shock are gone. Now you have to They make new fasteners for the bolts. If you want to buy this shock absorber for a factory stock upgrade - NOT. It will not work. That being said I have no doubt that this is a quality shock absorber. I have them. Behind my car I need one find another damper that works with the factory car.
