Doesn't work as advertised

I bought this product to easily mow the lawn for job evaluations. The device never returns to its original starting point. I even marked the bottom with paint to make sure I didn't go crazy. It will never confirm that it has returned to the starting point for calculating square meters, even in linear mode. God.
