You know, that has NO butt! I've never seen a mention of it. Whatever you install becomes the ground; The drawers have felt pads that you can slide on to allow them to glide across any desk. My desktop is glass so they slide pretty well. I'm not mad that this has no bottom; It works perfectly on my desk. However, considering the price, I find it too much due to the lack of such a large chunk. In general, the assembly was easy, the quality is very good, I really like the look; it is very attractive when all together. The back of the device has the same wood pattern, which is great since my desk doesn't face a wall so everyone can see the back. They don't have stickers covering the black screws, however, so you can still see the hardware clearly. I'm not sure why no stickers are included. In general, I am satisfied with the product, but I still have the feeling that I paid too much.
