I really can't believe this product! And I don't write reviews very often, so I promise this product will be something special. This protein powder is amazing and plant based. However, this is where it stops looking like other vegan protein powders. It's NOT made with pea protein so it doesn't cause any unnecessary gas and bloating lol. To be honest, other vegan protein powders have made me miserable (and others around me too hahaha) and I'm so happy I found this one. It can also be used to make amazing protein muffins perfect for pre and post workouts (recipe on package for convenience ;) ). Mary Ruth cares equally about what goes into her products and what doesn't. Every effort is made to source organic ingredients and the result is a truly outstanding product. Other reviews mention consistency and I'll say this: This powder requires careful mixing but can be very smooth. I recommend using a blender if you have the time, as well as higher-fat nut milks like cashew or coconut milk. However, it's delicious and smooth in an almond milkshaker. Just shake a little longer than usual. Overall, the MaryRuth Organic team is amazing! And the products they create and release are next level. Quality ingredients and sincere concern for consumers.
