The light bar is bright and I really like what it adds to my truck. I wasn't aware of one thing before buying and installing it. The lights at the back of the car have 5 functions. (1) Run, (2) Brake, (3) Left Turn, (4) Right Turn, and (5) Backup. With that you need 6 wires as one of the wires is the ground wire. This kit has 5 wires going to the lightbar, so you'll have to give up one of those. I really wanted the running, braking and belaying to work, so I dropped the turn signals. I could have done without running or braking instead, but I like the results. The instructions for the kit indicate that you need to connect braking power to the display of each turn of the steering wheel. Thus, the three-phase and braking current is fed to the same input of the lightbar. I may be wrong on that, but I believe if you do this your brake lights will come on every time you make a turn and vice versa. I did not want that. It's also important to note that my old truck has a separate left brake light and left turn signal (also on the right side). If my truck only flashed a left brake light instead of a left turn signal, I could use the full functionality of this light bar. In general I am satisfied with the results.
