Everything is fine after assembly. It provides ample support and is wide enough for an adult to comfortably roll over and long enough to fully support an average-sized adult. Because it's low to the ground, it fits in most tents, even those that aren't tall enough to stand in. A cot takes up more space than a mat with a sleeping bag, so a 3-4 person tent becomes a 2 person tent. The cot comes in a sturdy bag and folds into a compact package. There are no parts to lose. The installation instructions are simple and obvious. The only real problem I had was getting this crib together. There is a zip the full length of the bed. It was very difficult to get this zipper the first time. It was like fastening a garment that was too small. My husband and I worked on this for a while, one pulling the sides together and the other zipping. It seemed hopeless until the zipper suddenly started to move and as it passed the first pair of legs it closed easily. We felt the fabric just needed a little stretch and we left the zipper closed to give it a little stretch. Overall I like this crib, but if the fabric is a little loose when in use, one person will not be able to set up this crib.
