I messed up the whole first sheet trying to get the right cut-out depth on my cricket. I ended up using cardboard + depth and it worked. Even the individual foil installation was not nearly deep enough. When he finally cut himself, it was great. More like paper than vinyl, it removes weeds with ease. I pressed firmly with the iron set to wool for 20 seconds. There was an air bubble that you can use on the side of the iron to push it to the side to loosen it. If you don't, it will leave an odd indentation. You can warm up any section that doesn't "take" another 10 seconds or so. I have hot cleaned but not sure if this is the best way or not. I wanted to make sure everything was soaked before everything cooled. I haven't washed it yet but for my needs it just needs to look good for a day.
