I am buying these for a standalone home and using them on wheels WHY? To have 20 amp 12v dc hotspots for the price of 1/3 of a cigarette lighter plug all you have to do is grab the little cords that come with SO MANY 12v dc transformers (CHECK + and - first) , and then clean the wire and insert it into the tabs. Holds up amazingly well and my 12v radios, tv's and dvd players which had a transformer that steps down 120v ac to 12v dc are now eliminated and inverter power is wasted running these power hungry devices, just FLUSH! Install a fuse (20 amp max) and run a minimum 12 AWG wire through it and you can run the inverter up to 250 watts for the computer and you'll soon find out how many games, TVs and other things really 12 volts have DC inside while getting rid of transformers. Energy consumption saves you money on the number of batteries and solar panels you need.
