Review on SRAM PG1070: High-Performance 10-Speed Cassette for Ultimate Speed and Precision by Andrew Amzallag

Very good cartridge, competitive. Extremely fast shifting with my tiagra 4800 derailleur The packaging is a little confusing: the box says 10 gears but only 9 gears are visible. To save space, the smallest gear is hidden at the bottom where it is not visible. Holding the box does not allow you to verify if this gear has 11 or 12 teeth (resulting in not wanting to open the box and having trouble returning it). After a few hundred kilometers, the gears show minimal wear and shifting is still jerky. I give my chain a thorough wipe and re-lube and also clean the cassette with plain green. I have used the 11 tooth option of this cassette and am happy with it. I will buy another one when this one wears out.
