Longtime user of SRAM cassettes.

I have been using the 1070 cartridge for over 10 years and it works perfectly. Shifts are crisp, regardless of the chain. I hooked it up to SRAM 1070 and KMC XL10 SL chains with no problem. The only downside is that the price is usually higher than a comparable Shimano Ultegra cassette. SRAM 1070 11-28T and Ultegra 11-28T have slightly different gear sizes, but the difference is negligible. Also, when using a Shimano cassette on my Bontrager wheelset, do I need to use a 1mm washer. I don't need

Beautiful finishes, light and good value for money.

Good value for money. The processing of the cassette looks good. Beautiful and shiny. Gives shine to my bike. Also, the ideal sprocket sizes for me are 11-36T, which is all I'll ever need with a 26T chainring. This cassette weighs about 360 grams, which is acceptable even on my 23.9 lb mountain bike as it's strong and will last longer than any of those aluminum cogs on other slightly lighter cassettes. I chose this all-steel cartridge for durability and it has proven to be a solid…

Works great with cassettes and freewheels

I bought this for my Specialized Source Expert Hybrid. It came with an 11-32 PG1050 cassette and a SRAM Apex shifter, but when I added travel racks and panniers and loaded them, I became concerned about the bike's ability to climb hills with just a 2x10 drivetrain .Rather than spend money on a transition to a triple crank, I settled on the 11-36 PG1070 and lost three inches in the lowest gear, which is more than enough for most hills. The only adjustment I had to make was to tighten the…

Sweet cassette. Good service. Good price.

Very good cartridge, competitive. Extremely fast shifting with my tiagra 4800 derailleur The packaging is a little confusing: the box says 10 gears but only 9 gears are visible. To save space, the smallest gear is hidden at the bottom where it is not visible. Holding the box does not allow you to verify if this gear has 11 or 12 teeth (resulting in not wanting to open the box and having trouble returning it). After a few hundred kilometers, the gears show minimal wear and shifting is still…

Perfect fit with a short front derailleur. easy to install.

I gave up my 11-23 cassette as I needed a larger gear for climbing and rarely used 11 speed (11 speed was only used for a few seconds on descents ). And I wanted to stick with a 10 speed cassette so I wouldn't have to pay $250-$300 to upgrade to 11 speed. I have a short Shimano derailleur, but I went with the 12-28 SRAM cassette as it has a 16 speed (which is the one I use most). According to Shimano, the 27-tooth cog is the largest cog a short derailleur can handle. I also read that Shimano is

Great cassette for weight, price and tooth options

I use and own a Sram 1070 cassette in sizes 11-28 and 11-32 and they both work great with the Ultegra, 105, Rival and Force drivetrain. Trains. I've used Sram 1050 and 1091R chains with 1070 cassettes and a couple of Shimano and KMC chains and everything worked fine from that point of view. The 1070 cassette (as well as the slightly heavier 1050 cassette) are great because they combine modest costs. with great durability and pinion tooth options. Most of the time I ride an 11-26 or 11-28…
