Review on SRAM PG1070: High-Performance 10-Speed Cassette for Ultimate Speed and Precision by Omar Thorndike

I bought this for my Specialized Source Expert Hybrid. It came with an 11-32 PG1050 cassette and a SRAM Apex shifter, but when I added travel racks and panniers and loaded them, I became concerned about the bike's ability to climb hills with just a 2x10 drivetrain .Rather than spend money on a transition to a triple crank, I settled on the 11-36 PG1070 and lost three inches in the lowest gear, which is more than enough for most hills. The only adjustment I had to make was to tighten the adjustment screw b (the one on the back of the derailleur) a few turns to move the top jockey wheel away from the chain. works wonderfully.
