Koosh meets lacrosse!

This Koosh Flix Stix set is a new take on Koosh!I had a Koosh when I was a kid but my kids had never been introduced. This is a lot of fun - you can either play with the ball by itself or you can each grab a stick and throw the ball to each other. My sons love to play together to see how long they can keep going (my younger is 5 so this is hard for him) but for older kids, they could throw crazy to compete against each other. This is shorter than a lacrosse stick but has the same sort of motion.

Pros
  • 1.62 pounds
Cons
  • Could potentially cause arguments or conflicts among players who have differing opinions on gameplay strategies.

Beginner lacrosse fun

Great toy except we lost the one and only koosh within minutes of starting to play. My sweet neighbor accidentally tossed it right onto our roof as soon as we started playing. With that said, I wish more koosh ball things were included. However, we quickly found a substitute and continued playing. I think this helps my 6 yr old have better hand eye coordination. The little scoopy part makes you toss the ball properly, and makes for a fun activity. Would definitely recommend it.

Pros
  • My 3 boys all play lacrosse and just really enjoy this toy.
Cons
  • May require a large playing area, limiting options for those with limited space.

Tons of fun - best for outdoor play

Koosh is such a nostalgic toy for me, so when I saw this Koosh Flix Stix, I was excited to try it with my own kids. We first tried indoors, but very quickly realized this is more of an outdoor game in order to get some distance when flicking the Koosh (not that you can get a whole lot of distance with a Koosh, but definitely more than when indoors.) It was a little awkward at first for my six year old the maneuver the Flix Stick but it just needed getting used to and then it was easy enough…

Pros
  • Fun to play, and sturdy
Cons
  • Product came open, no koosh ball.

Fun and well-made Koosh-hurlers

I've had a lot of fun playing toss and catch with my 7-year-old using these lacrosse-like "Flix Stix." They are sturdily made--the blue shells are made of thick, durable hard plastic, and the red portions from a softer plastic/rubber material that easily flexes to admit the koosh ball into the cup when catching. The handles also feel very sturdy and have a bumpy rubberized grip, making them comfortable to hold and use.Getting them to launch a Koosh ball a good distance takes some practice, but

Pros
  • Reminds me of my childhood and I can play it with my young kids
Cons
  • May not be suitable for younger children under 6 years old.

So much fun, can’t wait to gift some soon!

I had to order this Koosh Flix Stix set because I loved Koosh anything when I was my daughters age. She’s 9 and we homeschool so I’m always looking for fun active things to change up our daily routine. She loves playing a game with these where you start pretty close to your opponent then you each take a step back after a successful toss catch combo. My husband and I enjoy playing with her too. I’ve noticed since we’ve been playing a few weeks her hand eye coordination has noticeably improved…

Pros
  • HEAD-TO-HEAD—Grab a friend and compete to flick the furthest!
Cons
  • May be too difficult for some players to quickly learn and master.

fun for kids and grownups

Got these for my son's 7th birthday, safe to say he is obsessed. I was happy to find a fun active interactive game that I would be okay with him playing indoors as we hit the cold Winter months. In the hallway, it is completely safe. He has learned that he can toss the Koosh far without actually flinging it into something and causing damage. I grew up playing with Koosh balls so this is really fun for me too. Fun to play both with and without the paddles.

Pros
  • July 28, 2022
Cons
  • Could potentially damage furniture, walls, or other objects if played indoors improperly.

Fun - Both indoors and outdoors

Very fun. We like Koosh products because they are (mostly) safe indoors -- sure a well placed throw can still break things, but it is still safer than a regular ball flying around the house. The box and the page both say "Plays like lacrosse", since it is one handed I think it plays more like jai alai. But either way, still fun. Both my sons can play, I think they would both like the ball to travel a bit further, but that is both the benefit and the detriment of using the koosh ball -- doesn't…

Pros
  • PLAYS LIKE LACROSSE—Flix Stix play like lacrosse with no-bounce Koosh for easy catching!
Cons
  • May not be durable enough for intense or frequent usage.

A fun variation on classic catch

Koosh balls are giving me very 90’s nostalgic vibes! I’ve got two daughters that I would really like to get outside and keep them there for a while. We have a trampoline, various battery cars, a jungle gym and a swing….but they always seem bored. I thought this would be something they could do together and maybe add another option for an an outdoor activity. I’d say the closest you can compare this to is lacrosse because of the mechanics involved with throwing and catching using the stick. Once

Pros
  • COOPERATIVE PLAY—Compete or work together to see how long you can pass the Koosh ball back and forth, and from how far away!
Cons
  • May not be as popular or widely known as other similar games on the market.

Fun indoor and outdoor game

This is a great buy because it can be used indoor and outdoors for physical activity. Its comfortable to use on the wrists, bright colors (easier to find), and great pricepoint. Definitely giftable.

Pros
  • China
Cons
  • May not appeal to players who prefer more low-key or relaxing games.

Great fun! on my review.

This is such a great game and fun to play. Bright colors and inviting right away just by the looks of it. The paddles are comfortable to hold and this is easy and fun to play. I gave this to my son and kicked him outside for some fresh air fun with his friends. I'm always looking for activities for him to be outside instead of on his Xbox and this was perfect. They stayed outside for over an hour!

Pros
  • - Perfect for children aged 6 and up, Koosh Flix Stix Ball Fun combines dexterity and athleticism in a fun and engaging way, helping kids develop their physical coordination and social skills
Cons
  • May not be worth the price point for some consumers compared to other similar games

Koosh is back and more fun than ever

The 90's phenomenon is back and better than ever! This mash up of lacrosse and everyone's favorite Koosh ball is endlessly fun. The Flix Stix are lightweight, well-constructed and comfortable in the hand. It's easy to pick this up and begin having a relaxing game of catch in no time. Best of all, it's safe for pretty much all ages and can be played just about anywhere.

Pros
  • - Unleash your competitive spirit with Koosh Flix Stix Ball Fun! Whether you're playing one-on-one or in teams, this game plays like lacrosse and will have you on the edge of your seat
Cons
  • Could be difficult to transport or store due to irregular shape and size.

Koosh.always a great toy

Upfront disclosure: I received this through the Revain Vine program for review. For as long as I can remember Koosh toys have always been great. I think I still have my original Koosh balls from when I was a kid (so they are several decades old at this point). I still love playing with them. They are soft, dynamic, fly nicely, and very safe compared to other balls out there. So when I saw this set I knew I had to have it to play with my nephew. Its perfect. Two hand held catchers that are…

Pros
  • Sports & Outdoor Play
Cons
  • May not be ideal for players with certain physical limitations or disabilities.

Fun indoor/outdoor game

I grew up with Koosh balls, and this game combines one of those with lacrosse style paddles (Flix Stix). Because Koosh balls are so soft, this game *could* be played inside, but I think it would be safer for your house and more enjoyable overall to play outside – unless you have a larger indoor space with a tall ceiling available. Everything seems well constructed, but I do wish that two Koosh balls were included.

Pros
  • - With the ability to play both indoors and outdoors, Koosh Flix Stix Ball Fun provides versatility and excitement no matter the weather
Cons
  • Could potentially become too repetitive or monotonous after extended play.
