I've had a lot of fun playing toss and catch with my 7-year-old using these lacrosse-like "Flix Stix." They are sturdily made--the blue shells are made of thick, durable hard plastic, and the red portions from a softer plastic/rubber material that easily flexes to admit the koosh ball into the cup when catching.

The handles also feel very sturdy and have a bumpy rubberized grip, making them comfortable to hold and use.Getting them to launch a Koosh ball a good distance takes some practice, but that is part of the fun. And catching with them is fun too, since they extend your reach and allow you to grab catches that you might not otherwise get.We'll definitely be taking them to the park next time we go.
