Review on Catit Design Replacement Filtering Cartridge by Christina Stanley

The original filter that came with the Catit fountain worked great and lasted a month. When I put a replacement in, water didn't flow through well. I took it out, rinsed it under the tap again and tried again. However, the water flowed so slowly that it receded. I tried another filter that worked a little better but still wasn't as good as the original filter. The next day I saw that the water was bubbling up (due to the slow flow, the water was always at the top of the filter area). I changed the water and put the filter back under the tap. The next day the water was cloudy and cloudy. I tried using the filter by removing the water softener ingredient but the hair went through and the water became quite uncomfortable within 3 days. I now use Catit Small replacement filters (models 50053 and 55600 only). I change it every month, but I clean the cat fountain every 3 weeks. The well will begin to form mold around any gaps under the flower and along the edges where the top meets the bowl. I use water filtered through my clean water filter jug in a cat fountain.
