Review on 📻 Enhance Sirius Radio Reception with AudioVox SXHA1 Exterior Home Antenna by Timothy Schroeder

I have been listening to XM radio at home for at least 12 years. I had a regular indoor antenna which was picking up a great signal until the end of June 2019 when the radio went out. I called XM to ask if there was a problem with the signal, they told me no, which was most likely my radio. After I bought a new radio and antenna, I had the exact same problem. I've called XM many times to ask about the signal strength, but each time I've been told everything is fine. I then tried a car antenna outside my home, which was slightly better but still couldn't hear any sound. As a last resort I bought this antenna. It is roof mounted with about 70 feet of coax cable running to the radio. After the first install I got a much better signal but the sound still dropped every few minutes. I called XM again, they said there was no problem with the signal. I started rotating the antenna in 1/4 inch increments on the mounting pole pointing toward the southern sky. I also rotated the antenna head about 60 degrees as you see with the round dish TV antennas. After several days of making small adjustments, I was finally able to get a stable signal. If there had been so many problems with XM when I first got started, I would have phased out the service. this is your last chance to get an "over the air" signal. Something has changed with the XM signal, at least in my area, as it is much more difficult to enter than it used to be. Adapters are sold to convert the coaxial connection to your XM radio.
