This item looks very ordinary and cheap and will not be displayed in your sewing workshop. It arrives and requires simple assembly. No big deal except; The screws mounted on the base plate make direct contact with the surface on which they are located. The rubber feet are not high enough to prevent this. Okay, winding coils on a cutting mat is just a wild inconvenience. There aren't enough instructions, but with a little thought, you can get the spooling done. This is where the biggest problem emerged. (5) The coils I wound are NOT evenly wound. Each has an odd dome shape that causes the sensor to know the spool is full before it's full. At this point I can't say how this could/will affect sewing. I don't have the courage to test it on my 10 needle embroidery machine yet, maybe tomorrow. With that all said, this is a quick little end. The engine sounds strong enough to last a while. After testing one of the wound spools in the machine, I decide whether to return it or not. For the price, I'm leaning in that direction. I might have gotten over the wrap aesthetic if it had wrapped flawlessly, but it wasn't.
