I used this to remove a large triple clamp on my bike. For this purpose it worked perfectly. I doubt I'll have to do this often and I'll probably never own vehicles that have a matching oil filter, but I'm glad I bought one. If you need to back out a 36mm bolt and you have a 3/8 drive this is the most cost effective way to do it.
