I raise kittens and sometimes when I get them they are very malnourished. One of them in particular, little Gracie, was so small compared to her brothers that she ate very little and had no energy. I had to force feed her KMR to give her some calories. I started feeding her this and she loved it. I feed them straight from the bottle. After about a week she started eating more on her own (I also switched her food to gravy which is tastier). After a few weeks, she's still very small, but she's cocky and doesn't mind being rude to her four brothers. I still give it to her after every meal (I think she thinks it's her dessert because she comes over and looks at me until I give it to her!). Since it helped the kitten, I should also say that not all kittens are like that. Usually when I dilute it with water or add it to food they eat it with no problem, but they don't usually like it straight from the bottle. Luckily, baby Gracie was the exception to that rule because she really needed it. For a while I was worried she wouldn't survive but with support and proper care she is doing great!
