Review on ViewSonic VG2765 Ergonomic Monitor - 2560X1440P DisplayPort LCD by James Pial

After purchasing this monitor I am now officially spoiled! I used to never know what I was missing! I used to have a smaller Samsung. It's like a whole new universe! With an extra cable, I connected an old Samsung as a second monitor just for e-mail and calendar, because these two programs are always in the way, but are always needed. But this new monitor is so much brighter, sharper and so easy to read, not to mention a huge improvement in color quality, that I now want to replace the Samsung with another View Sonics! The extra money for ViewSonic was worth the investment. I had a ViewSonic VDT tube display a long time ago and it was a real workhorse so I was sure it was going to be a solid product. But it exceeded my expectations. I was concerned about the stand as the base was round and I was concerned it would stick out too much. But I am very impressed with this shelf. Not only does it adjust to a large area, you can also switch the monitor to a portrait orientation if you need that kind of rotation. I thought I'd like very minimal sides and the top of the frame, and I really do! I'm also so glad I spent the extra to not get a white border. The black frame just disappears. This monitor, along with the wonderful black Ankor wireless keyboard I bought in the kit, really cleans up my desktop and creates an elegant environment! Every aspect of this monitor is better than I could have imagined!
