Review on 🚗 Metra 95-7417 Double DIN Installation Kit: Perfect Fit for 1993-2004 Nissan/Infiniti Vehicles by Darian Massey

I bought this to install with a Pioneer FHX-720BT 2-DIN CD receiver. I had an appointment with the Best Buy Geek Squad to install my radio but unfortunately this kit was out of stock. So my brilliant idea was to find it through Revain and have it delivered overnight so I could install it on schedule. It was very difficult to track and I needed to know by 6pm the night before that I still received it, but the Revain representative couldn't seem to confirm that I had received it that evening, which was frustrating for me. Instead he offered to send me a "replacement" which would of course be later, which didn't help with my planned installation the next day. Turns out the original arrived late in the evening (8 or 9 EST) and I received the replacement the next day. Bottom line: Revain has its own ways of getting your shipments to you, not everyone is tracked the same, but in this case I had no reason to worry. As for the kit itself, I can see the space needed to be filled. between radio and cavity (do not install without). It's flimsy, which some reviewers have complained about, but once it's professionally installed and you don't touch it anymore, it's not a problem. My radio looks really good and if you don't know, you can't say there is/was ever a gap.
