I've had a very hard time keeping a ring of mold on my toilet lines. My research into this issue has shown that it is due to "ceramic pitting" at the waterline. In my research I also found that the hissing effect of dropping 2 Alka Seltzer tablets down the toilet helps loosen the ring and heck it really does! I leave the Alka Seltzer treated water in the bowl for about 10 minutes; Then I put the good old Comet Cleanser in the water, scrub with a toilet brush and everything is clean and tidy again. The Soft Scrub 4-in-1 Toiletry Racks come into play after the first use of Alka Seltzer/Comet. The rim bracket largely prevents the mold ring from forming again in the toilet. But if it reappears, repeat the Alka Seltzer/Comet step.
