This is an updated review of the Wuben TO46R LED Flashlight. The original lamp was defective when received. However, Revane replaced him within days. I am pleased to report that the replacement is 100% working. The flashlight is of high quality, excellent fit and finish, and its performance is second to none. This flashlight uses 3 Nichia 219C LEDs to produce a very bright beam of light. This is a CRI 90+ LED, and the color of illuminated objects is almost the same as bright sunlight. The true observed color of illuminated objects is very noticeable compared to low CRI LEDs. It is excellent for inspecting objects where true color is paramount. The flashlight has two control switches, one to turn on and off, the other selects one of 5 brightness levels. The brightness level is constant, so I can start low to save battery and increase the brightness as needed. The brightness level when the light was turned off is remembered, so successive on/off cycles will bring you back to the level when the light was off. The USB charging port is protected by a sealed removable cover. The battery compartment is sealed with an O-ring, so the device must be waterproof. Two spare O-rings are included. The kit also includes a strap, USB charging cable, and carrying case. The flashlight also has a clip that allows you to attach it to your belt or pocket. This is a very economical flashlight, the price of which, in my opinion, is much lower than that of similar devices.
