I've been using this product for a few weeks now and for the price it works really well and is easy to use. Keep in mind that this camera isn't a replacement for a good video camera, but for capturing my family in action and in incognito mode, it's fine. It seems when you point the camera at someone, they tend to be aware and not act the same or natural. The bullet camera will start recording as soon as you turn it on and the instructions will explain the process of stop/start recording. You can record continuously and each video file is 5 minutes long and is an AVI file type. The longest video I've ever made is around 30 minutes. You need a video editor to combine all the videos into one big file. Surprised by the quality of the video is not bad, both outdoors and indoors with the lights on. I haven't done much in low light yet. The handle gets a little warm with each use, but works well. This device does not have stabilization, so there is a chance that it will bounce when you are doing something strenuous/walking/cycling. Best for stationary panning scenes, meetings, car rides, etc. The tricky part: still figuring out how to line that tiny camera up correctly (sometimes really hard) when you put it in your pocket. Pointing the tiny camera at the wrong target somewhere doesn't take much effort. To get video files, I just connect the included USB cable from the pen to the computer. From there I can view them on an SD card or transfer them to a computer. I just leave the SD card in the pen the entire time during this process and also while it is loading. I don't know how long the battery will last as I only use it for a short time. I try not to plug or unplug the USB cable while my computer is on, hopefully this avoids damaging the pen. I'm not sure if there is an EJECT function for the pen. Now I'll see how the pen fares in terms of durability over the next few weeks and months. As long as everything works as it should.
